The oval at Vero Beach in Florida is where tomorrow’s trotting stars are trained. As regards both size and number of horses, Palema Trotting is growing. “We have had to build more boxes to provide accommodation,” comments the camp’s manager, Ulf Amundson, who was born in the Dalsland region of Sweden.

With yet more commercial tenants on the way, a restaurant with famous TV chefs already operating and resources such as own harbour and rail line, Benders’ Uddevalla industrial estate is a cauldron of possibilities.

Haulage company Braås Åkeri now has a new giant in its fleet. Working for Benders, the juggernaut carries a full 55 tonnes of sand per load. At the same time, its emissions are 25 percent less for each carried tonne!

Selling roof tiles, paving stones and facing bricks, Benders’ facility in Lithuania is now open. This logistics centre covers the markets of Lithuania, Belarus and Kaliningrad.
