Once again! A several year old record has been broken. No one believed it was possible to lay slabs so quickly. Slabs take more time than ordinary paving stones.

Benders Sverige AB has today acquired machinery and premises from the estate in bankruptcy of Eco Byggolit AB in Vara. The purchase was made through Benders Isolering AB, a newly started company.

Benders is now launching its new website. There are still improvements waiting round the corner, but a large part of what is new is already in place. Above all else, we have a new design and more functions. These make it more enjoyable and easier to find what you want in our ranges. At the same time, the website has been tuned to work equally well on computers, tablets and mobiles.

On Wednesday the 22^nd of January, Lars Bäckström, the county governor of Västra Götaland, visited Benders’ new facility in Uddevalla. Clas-Åke Sörkvist (a municipal commissioner for Tanum and chairman of the “Fyrbodal federation of municipalities”) and Henrik Sundström (a municipal commissioner for Uddevala) were also present.

Benders Sverige AB, the country’s leading producer of roofing, landscaping and granite products, has acquired the Uddevalla complex where Volvo most recently manufactured its C70.

Benders Sverige AB has acquired Bohusläns Kooperativa Stenindustri and its sales company, Bohusgranit AB. The acquisition makes Benders one of Sweden’s largest concrete and granite companies.

Benders Sverige AB, Sweden’s leading manufacturer of concrete products for roofing, landscaping and pinned kerbing (Spikma), has acquired AB Uddevalla Cementgjuteri in Uddevalla.

In 2012, Benders Sverige AB will be setting up a rail-based logistics centre in Åstorp. Besides a warehouse carrying large parts of Benders’ ranges, the centre will also have offices, venues for overnight stays, conference facilities and a display in the shape of a 3,000 square metre winter garden.
