LECA block

A simple and very ergonomic block for masonry of internal and external walls, i.e. entire houses. LECA blocks have a tongue and groove, and are precise in their size and can therefore be built with thin joints. All LECA blocks (except 90 and 150) are also provided with holes, which further reduces weight and makes them easier to grip. This means that LECA blocks are very quick and easy to brick with. Furthermore, the blocks are very resistant to moisture, frost, as well as resistant to fire and have good insulating properties. They are available in several widths to suit your building and in two types. Type 3 has a compressive strength of 3MPa and is a lighter block. Type 5 blocks' compressive strength is 5MPa and are suitable when the masonry is exposed to greater loads. Type 5 also has a higher density than Type 3, which means they have a higher sound reduction.
