Thursday the 16th of April saw the first unloading of a boat at our own quay in Uddevalla. Further streamlining of future transport is now possible.
The boat came from Portugal and was loaded with large and small street paving stones. Transport was directly from the Portuguese warehouse to our own facility in Uddevalla. There were no intermediaries or transhipments.
This is yet another step in the investment to make our transport even more efficient. Our Uddevalla quay gives us the ability to eliminate one transport link and have control over the entire chain.
We hope that we will also eventually be exporting from this quay.
